Biography of Sifu Gary Todd
His title, Sifu, means instructor in Chinese. Sifu Gary began his Martial Arts training in 1974. He achieved his black belt in My Jhong Law Horn from Master Kwong Ming Lee in Shreveport, La a little over 3 years later. Hailing from Louisiana, Sifu Gary competed all over the Southern United States and won numerous tournaments as well as Grand Championship awards. Sifu Gary began training in Eagle Claw another Northern Shaolin Style in 1994 with Master Gini in the San Francisco Bay area. Under Master Lau’s training Gary received his black belt in the Eagle Claw system. He has traveled to train and compete in mainland China and received 2 Silver Medals in the 1st World Traditional Wushu Championships. Sifu Gary earned his B.S. degree from LSU and is a Vice President and Partner in a manufacturing business.
But even more important than his many awards is Sifu Gary’s caring, attentive, patient teaching style. Sifu Gary attempts to help each and every student reach their individual goals by utilizing a number of different and proven teaching techniques. He is also a certified and skilled Kettlebell weight training instructor and practitioner. Unlike other martial artists, Sifu Gary’s desire is to train in and teach the Eagle Claw system and carry on Master Lau’s lineage. Sifu Gary is the head instructor for Bellaire’s Northern Shaolin Academy.

Jacob Jones is from Dallas, TX and a student at Centenary College in Shreveport. Jacob has studied Tae Kwon Do for over 10 years while growing up in Dallas. Jacob is currently enrolled as a Student in the Eagle Claw Kung Fu program at Bellaire’s south Campus after joining the program in November of 2007. Jacob joined Bellaire Baptist on December 16, 2007.
Michael Kramer is a proud member of the United States Army. Michael joined the Eagle Claw Kung Fu program at Bellaire’s South Campus in October of 2007. Michael also joined Bellaire Baptist Church on December 16, 2007.
