Friday evening, December 7, 2007, the Bellaire Worship Choir and Orchestra, Children's Choir, Student Choir, and others presented the message of Christmas at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City, Louisiana. From the modern Christmas songs such as "We are the Reason" so the classic favorites such as "Joy to the World" and "Jingle Bells", it was a wonderful, Spirit-filled evening. Here are just a few of the pictures from that evening along with a story of just one of the lives that was touched.

A young man approached me after our Boardwalk concert and began to tell me His story..... He has recently moved here from New Orleans to pursue a career in acting. Friday night he decided to go to O'Brien's pub to experience the Shreveport night life. While he was relaxing at the bar he said he heard music like he had never heard before. Being from New Orleans he has heard a lot of good music but, he explained he had never felt music like this before. He was drawn from the bar and onto the street where he stood and listened to the concert. He explained that his Mom had been telling him he needed Jesus. Well to make this testimony short this young man said he found Jesus at the Boardwalk Friday night. This event was to reach the community for Christ. We never know how the Lord will use our efforts to further His work.

Blessings,
Starla
